The ITC Modular Tool System (MTS) is a modular quick-attach system for tractors. You bolt one mount onto your machine, and from then on every ITC accessory drops into that same mount and locks in place with a detent pin. Pull the pin to swap. A whole accessory change takes about 5 seconds. Start with a SawBoss today, add a Chainbox next month, layer in a fire extinguisher carrier or a toolbox after that. Nothing you buy becomes obsolete as the kit grows.

The Four Building Blocks

Do I need a Quick Attach Plate with every accessory?

You do not have to order one separately. A Quick Attach Plate (#189) ships standard with every accessory, so a fresh kit is automatically ready to mount. The only time the plate gets removed from an order is when you already own a SawBoss and are buying a Chainbox - in that case the plate already on the SawBoss can be reused for the Chainbox, and the bundled plate is dropped from the Chainbox order.

Which mount do I need for my tractor?

Three options. The ROPS Mount (#162) bolts to the ROPS roll bar and fits bars up to 3" x 4" (needs 4" of vertical flat space). The Loader Mount (#160) bolts to a front loader less than 8" wide (needs 3" of flat space). The XL Loader Mount (#160XL) handles loaders up to 12" wide (needs 4" of flat space, ships with a backing plate instead of a U-bolt). If you are unsure, use the Fit Checker on this page and ITC will verify before you order.

What is the difference between the Chainbox and the XL Chainbox?

Same footprint, different depth. The Chainbox (#170) measures 6" wide x 4" deep x 12" tall. The XL Chainbox (#170XL) measures 6" wide x 6.5" deep x 12" tall - the extra depth gives you more interior storage and a larger mounting surface for accessories. Pick the regular Chainbox for a single saw and a basket; pick the XL when you want maximum surface area or you are stacking two baskets.

Can I start small and add accessories later?

Yes. The system is designed that way. Buy one mount and one accessory now (a SawBoss is the most common starting point). Add a Chainbox, Toolbox, Fire Extinguisher Carrier, String Trimmer Carrier, or Multi-Tool Holder over time. Every accessory uses the same Quick Attach Plate and the same mount, so nothing you buy becomes obsolete as the kit grows.

Does the SawBoss come in different colors?

Yes. The SawBoss (#165) is the only product with a color option. The logo is available in Black, Red, Orange, Blue, and Green. Pick one to match your tractor brand color or stick with black.

Who makes the Modular Tool System?

The MTS is designed and built by ITC Company in the United States, sold direct at itcquickattach.com and through an authorized dealer network. Mounts, brackets, and chainboxes are fabricated at ITC's own facility.
