1. Construction & Materials
Steel Framework
11-gauge steel provides the structural backbone, making this the strongest chainsaw carrier on the market.
Protection Liner
HDPE liner protects chain tooth sharpness and provides a soft resting surface for the chain case.
Reinforced Faceplate
14-gauge steel faceplate wraps around the sides for a clean edge and superior side-impact strength.
Finish & Detail
Industrial powder coating on all steel. Optional 3M highest-rated outdoor vinyl for logo color matching.
2. Mounting Configurations
ROPS Mount
Mounts directly to your tractor roll bar. Fits ROPS bars up to 2" x 4".
Standard Loader
Fits most tractor loader frames. Requires 3.5" of vertical flat space. Max loader width 8", max depth 5".
XL Loader Mount
Designed for loader frames 8"–12" wide. Uses a backing plate system instead of a U-bolt.
Note: Provide your own 1/2" bolts. Purchase bolts 1.5" longer than your measured frame depth.
John Deere Fitment: For the 440R Loader, select the Standard Loader Mount and the JD440 Kit. For the 320R Loader, please contact us via email before ordering.
3. ChainBox & Expansion
If mounting your chainsaw vertically, the ChainBox acts as the essential connector between the quick detach plate and the scabbard. It remains attached to the tractor and features mounting holes on all four sides.
- Standard ChainBox: 6" x 4" x 12". Holds up to 20ft of 5/16 chain. Allows clearance for full wrap handles (Cab tractor compatible).
- XL ChainBox: 6" x 6.5" x 12". Holds two 15ft chains. Allows the chainsaw to be flipped so the powerhead overhangs the box, reducing footprint.
Cab Compatibility: On some driver-side mounts, the chainsaw may extend toward the cab. Passenger-side mounting is recommended for cab models where the saw extends toward the bucket.
4. Multipurpose Basket & Upgrades
The Multipurpose Basket bolts directly to either side of the ChainBox. It measures 14.8" long, 8" wide, and 10" tall with a 5" lower skirt.
- Organization: Lower skirt includes top shelves with cutouts for files, wedges, and chainsaw tools.
- Versatility: Sized for various gas/oil container configurations or a 14" Flambeau toolbox (sits inside/removable).
- Secondary Tools: Add 2 or 4 Quick-Fist Clamps to the basket skirt to secure axes, shovels, or rakes.
This plate mounts directly to the front face of the SawBoss. Includes 1 wedge slot and 3 tool holes (flat file, round file, and chainsaw wrench). Includes two longer bolts for easy installation.
