Tractors need better storage. Everybody knows it. Doesn’t matter what brand you run, there’s never a good spot for the tools and “bits” you need while out working your tractor. The factory box is tiny and can hold very minimal small tools. Floorboards and the area around the seat get covered in stuff, like the pair of gloves you have to move every time you need to run that one control they are blocking. (Maybe this was just me, but I don’t think so.)
We have had a lot of success using this box in our modular tool system. Every now and then someone says they want a metal box because they would destroy a plastic one in two seconds.
1. Unlikely, we have seen less than a 1 percent failure rate on these in the last four years.
2. If you did manage to break one, you probably would have knocked off the thin metal toolbox too.
How it mounts:
This bracket is both Loader and ROPS compatible.
On the ROPS, you will get two 3 inch u bolts which fit up to a 3 by 3 ROPS bar.
On the Loader, it comes with one 8 inch u bolt.
No drilling, no modifying your tractor, nothing weird. You bolt it on in minutes and it is ready to go.
The goal was simple: make it clean, make it tough, and don’t make it stupid expensive. What is the weight capacity? More than the toolbox will hold. During testing, it sat pretty comfortably with 600 pounds on it. That was a fun video to record, check it out here (youtube link).
If you are someone that is looking to add a toolbox, leave it in place, and move on with your life, this product is for you.
If you are someone who wants the modularity to remove the toolbox from the tractor with no tools, and open the door to other accessories with the same mount, I would recommend checking out the ITC Loader Toolbox Kit.
If you are someone who needs even more storage, and wants the most flexible storage options out there, I would recommend looking at the Milwaukee Packout Mount for Tractors. This can be loader or ROPS mounted and open the door to the ultimate storage ecosystem.
