The ITC Fixed Mount Chainsaw Carrier
The Fixed Mount came later. We built it because not everyone needs modular. Some people just want something solid, simple, and done. It’s fixed in place. It’s built entirely from 11-gauge steel. It uses an HDPE liner, and has built-in storage for a wedge, files, and saw tools.

Construction Details That Matter
First and most important, neither of our chainsaw carriers rely on plastic to do structural work. Plastic is there for one reason only: to protect the teeth on the chain and protect the crankcase of the chainsaw. All load, vibration, and side force is handled by steel support.
Steel carries the load. Plastic protects the saw.
The framework of both of our chainsaw carriers is similar: 1/8-inch American steel with two 90-degree bends. These bends add an extreme amount of strength and eliminate any chance for the product to flop around. Inside that structure sits an HDPE liner. The liner does not carry load. It exists to protect the chain and eliminate metal-on-metal contact.
We have thousands of chainsaw carriers in the field, and as of writing this, we have never had a liner wear out and need to be replaced.
We fixed the weak link in early Saw Boss models
We did find a weak link in early Saw Boss models: the side spacers could be pried out and snapped off at the upper bolt. We altered the design to prevent this from ever happening again by adding steel support on the sides as well as the front and back, so the entire liner is wrapped in steel.
Fixed Mount Design Philosophy
The ITC Fixed Mount Chainsaw Carrier follows the same philosophy, just without the modular interface. It was designed years after the ITC Saw Boss with one single goal in mind: bring all the strength and quality while reducing the cost to the end user as much as possible. It is built entirely from 11-gauge steel, with formed bends adding incredible strength. The geometry is simple, rigid, and rock solid.
