Which chainsaw carrier should you put on your tractor?
ITC builds two American-made chainsaw carriers for tractors: the Fixed Mount, a loader-only carrier load tested at 420 lb, and the ITC SawBoss, a quick-detach carrier that mounts on the loader or the ROPS, is load tested at 600 lb, and carries a lifetime warranty as part of the ITC Modular Tool System.
If you landed here, you probably own a tractor and you're looking for a good way to carry a chainsaw on it. Here is how we see it: you either buy one from us and have it for the life of your tractor, or you buy one from somewhere else and then buy one from us after the first one fails.
The ITC Fixed Mount: the strongest fixed chainsaw carrier
The Fixed Mount is built from heavy-gauge steel, it will outlast anything else in its class, and it is the strongest fixed carrier on the market. It bolts to the tractor loader and does one job forever. It fits loaders up to 8 inches wide and 5 inches deep and needs 3 inches of vertical space.
The ITC SawBoss: the modular loader and ROPS chainsaw carrier
The SawBoss is part of the ITC Modular Tool System. It starts as a chainsaw carrier and expands from there: chain box, basket, wedge and file holder, rake holder, and more, all on a quick-detach platform that moves between your loader and ROPS in seconds.

We have thousands of ITC SawBoss scabbards in the field. As of writing this (5/13/26), we have had two warranty claims total. Here is what those were.
This customer runs four SawBoss scabbards on one tractor. Full-time in the woods. Before finding us, he was replacing his previous carrier every six months. Every six months. It has now been four years and we have replaced one HDPE liner on one unit.
That one was on him. We replaced it anyway.
We decided to have some fun with it.
We positioned both carriers in their weakest possible direction and stacked concrete bags on them until they bent. Here is what happened.
