Most tractors don’t give you a decent spot to store anything, and the factory “toolbox” is generally laughed at by most users. As a tractor user, you know that you are always in need of something. It may be 10 feet of chain Monday, a large screwdriver and hammer Tuesday, and 3 shear pins Wednesday because you didn’t learn your lesson the first 2 times (maybe this is just me). Not to mention the tools to change those pins, rags, hand cleaner, spare lynch pins... the list goes on. As a tractor owner you have two options: find somewhere to put these items, or drive/walk back to where you left them. I’ve made that walk of shame enough times in my lifetime.
This Packout Mount allows you to get your foot in the door on an entire ecosystem of parts/tool storage that is very durable and totally watertight. The small organizers with the removable parts bins will be your best friend, and my favorite is a tote bag loaded to the max. If you want to go all out, buy multiple toolboxes and organizers and load each one for a specific task if you have them - firewood, fencing, hunting supplies, general tractor kit, etc... Everything is now organized for you, fully waterproof, and mobile whenever you need it. This is without a doubt the best way to organize and store tools on your tractor.
This mount was designed to be very universal. While you do need to select ROPS or Loader before adding it to your cart, the only change is the U-bolts we send with it. When designed, it has left and right offsets built directly into it. It will fit cab model tractors in its full forward U-bolt position and is super flexible with open stations both on the loader and ROPS. You can get it setup in whatever position works best for you.
You can bolt two of them back-to-back on the ROPS bar for double the storage.
With more storage comes more weight. We wanted to be sure this was going to hold up to whatever configuration you came up with. So, we built a stand to bolt it to - both in the loader configuration and the ROPS configuration - and used concrete dry-mix bags to see if it could hold a couple without any issues. We added a couple of bags, then a couple more, then continued until we could no longer steady the tower. We also recorded it in one take so you could see it for yourself.
American made, built tough.
The way tractor stuff should be.
